OBJECTIVE:To study the kidney tonic components of Rhizoma Drynariae.METHODS:The herbal material was extracted with 50﹪ ethanol.Silica gel and sephadex LH-20 coluuln chromatography isolated the chemical components using the Opossurn Kidney cell for the living model.The structures were identified on the basis of chemical and spectroscopic data.RESULTS.Six monocases were isolated from the EtOH extract of in Rhizomes of Drynaria fortunei J.Sm..Four structures were identified as naringin(I),neocriocitrin(Ⅱ),kaempferol(Ⅲ),and naringenin-7-O-β-D-glucoside(Ⅳ),respectively,on the basis of its spectral and physicochemical evidence.The kaempferol call promote the proliferation of the Opossum Kidney cell tested by Promega’B CellTiter96 assay in vitro.Others are in identifying.CONCLUSION:Compound In and IV are firstly isolated from this plant,and the later may hefurther developed into a new effective drug for treatingm rural failure.
