The course of modernization includes keeping social economy developing and improving social civilization level．Many problems have been emerged in China during the procedure of economic development，such as natural resources have been destroyed seriously，environment has been deteriorated and seriously lack of energy supply．In the meanwhile，foreign trade increasing is facing the problem of lacking impetus，the gap between the rich and the poor has been widened and social problems is becoming more and more serious．Enterprises play an important role in the course of modernization．Besides seeking maximized profits for the stockholders in the business，they should also take the responsibility for the stakeholder and the whole society into account．At present，most of the Chinese enterprises are lacking of the consciousness of undertaking social responsibility．They only try to pursue their own profit and ignore the rights and interests of employees，and thus have lead to many wasting resources，polluting environment problems．They are also lacking of consciousness faithfulness and public service．In fact，enterprise undertaking social responsibility is profitable for social economic development，its own sustainability and harmonious society advancement．Promoting the corporate social responsibility in China needs the guide of government，enterprises attaching importance to it and the drive of a whole society．
