Indications for Thyroid FNA. Definite thyroid nodule on palpation or ultrasound. 1.Larger than 1.0-1.5 cm.(ATA criterion). 2.TSH normal or high. 3.If TSH low, do thyroid scan.Do FNA if nodule is not hot.4.SRU criteria: punctate Ca+2 1.0 cm., solid or coarse Ca+2 1.5 cm., complex 2.0 cm., cyst no FNA。
