With increasingly intensified competitions in Modern Banking, the Modern Commercial Banks haveto adopt new technologies to satisfiy the gradually personalized needs of the customers, so as to attract moreclients. In order to identify and understand the needs, to win customers' recognition, to improve their own com-petitiveness, the modern banks have to establish a system based on data mining, which will be an inevitablechoice. This paper introduces the concept of Data Mining;analyses the applications of this tequenique in thebanking manegement;and at last, summerizes the function of it.
