摘要

This paper presents a novel condensing agent with heteroatom (leaving group) -boron hydroxide. We tested it successfully in aromatic esters syntheses and achieved an optimization of the system in order to limitate the foaming phenomenon which occurs during the reaction. The effects of boron hydroxide amounts, addition of CuSO_4 in various quantities, the appropriate solvent or mixture of solvents (for removing the water formed in reaction), the order in which the reagents were added in system were studied.
