摘要

HA fine granules (100approx300 mu m) are smeared in 0 to 2 layers on the whole bone surface(IBBC). After smearing HA granules on the bone, bone cement is applied quickly to the bone. The period of follow-up study was 9 to 11 years after surgery from 1987 to 1989. IBBC was performed on 153 joints of secondary OA with dysplasia. Acetabular bone graftings were performed on over 95percent. Incidence of radiolucent line (RL) is remarkably low in IBBC. RL did not appear in the cases performing bone grafting at the dyspalsic acetabular margin in IBBC. IBBC is a method combining the advantage of cementless HA coating and PMMA bone cement.
