The goal of this paper is to explore existing relations between influence factors for cycle economy and end of life strategies，in particular remanufacturing，foe the development of a roadmap for end of life strategies. Sustainable value creation requires cycle economies which are not only ecologically reasonable but also a chance for new business areas.To implement cycle economies，production equipment have to be designed considering their whole life cycle，starting from the development along their utilization up to their reuse. Competition and collaboration as drivers for innovation processes have a leverage effect to remanufacturing oriented production equipment development.Various business concepts which include the end-of-life of products，e.g.selling the use rather than selling the product，will be considered in a scenario-based roadmap approach.The roadmap will help to identify different end-of-life strategies such as remanufacturing.Previously developed scenarios，which take economical， environmental，market-related，political，social and cultural， stakeholde-specific，and technological factors into account，are used to create the scenario based roadmap.
