The electric current sensor is one of the most important sensing devices to check the current condition,rncharge and discharge condition of batteries when electric vehicles (EV), hybrid electric vehiclesrn(HEV) and fuel-cell electric vehicles (FCEV) are running.rnAt present, main current sensing method is Magnetic Balance Method by using hole-elements becausernvery high accuracy is required. But this method needs high-powered dual-pole power source to flowrnbalance current and EVs need exclusive power source for only this current sensor.rnWe succeeded in developing the new current sensor, which is driven by general single-pole powerrnsource and has high accuracy.
