The California Fuel Cell Partnership (CaFCP) has embarked on an ambitious effort to demonstrate fuelrncell electric vehicles on California’s roadways. This paper will provide an overview of this uniquerncollaborative, as well as a progress report on vehicle activities, hydrogen fueling experiences andrninfrastructure, and public outreach. Additionally, this will also summarize a CaFCP-commissioned studyrnto examine the opportunities and barriers to commercializing fuel cell electric vehicles.
