摘要

The purpose of this work is to develop a framework for Intelligent Logistics Systems(ILS). The framework aims at increasing precision, reliability and efficiency intransportation execution by improving information exchange and capability of dataretrieval from RFID tagged goods and load units. The framework is developed from arequirement analysis based on empirical data collection within a complete logistics setupinvolving 13 different companies. The work is part of a large research project aimed atdeveloping a high-end solution for logistics management. The results of the study revealthe need for increased sophistication in collaboration between different partners as theidentified problems are mainly due to poor information exchange and a lack of processsynchronization between the parties.
