A numerical modeling of human body is established by dividing it into various layers for calculating the distributions of electric field strength inside and outside the amkn model, which is exposed to the radiation of the cellular phone at the frequency of 900MHz and the power of 0.5W. Calculations are made by using the finite difference timek-domain (FDTD) method. A kind of imaginary microwave absorber, which is attached to the edges of the problem geometry, is used to simulate the absorption boundary required by the application of the FDTD mehtod in this paper. The results of this paper will be useful for the further study of the effects on human body by the radiation formcellular phones.
