摘要

Studies on the development of periodic aerated reactor and in-situ remediation systems are ongoing at San Jose State University. The results of the preliminary experiment by the authors show that PCE degradation may have occurred during the transition between anaerobiosis and aerobiosis. Ongoing studies will provide more data for assessing the performance of the proposed technology. If successful, the proposed technology will provide a more economical treatment and remedition process, especially for poly-halogenated compounds.
