The continuous evolution of the automotive industry ― especially in its design and assembly methods ― requires a different approach and attitude from everyone who supplies this industry. We are participating in new dynamics within the car industry and supply chain. Two opposite forces, obviously in conflict to each other, must find equilibrium. Those forces are the high-pressure to lower the cost of materials, fabrication and assembly, versus the need for more R&D work and support. Materials and part/system suppliers must strengthen and/or develop new core skills as their bankable assets.
