We have developed an analytical model for estimating the flux density distribution of multi-pole ring. The flux density could be estimated as long as the valves Rr and Rm and pole pairs and Br are known, where Rr and Rm are the outer and inner radius of the multi-pole ring and Br is the remanence of the multi-pole ring, respectively. The calculations show that the peak flux density is going up with increasing the pole pairs then going down with increasing the pole pairs when Rr/Rm is constant and the peak flux density increases with the Rr/Rm when the pole pairs are constant for both internal and external flux density of the multi-pole ring.
