This paper presents the major achievements in our evaluation of SiGe technologies conducted during the past years. These include a 7-8 GHz receiver, a 7 GHz PLL and a 67-GHz bandwidth travelling-wave amplifier, all fully monolityic. Worldwide state-of-the-art results are also included to give, from an user's point of view, a relatively accurate picture on the potentials the technology has for deep mocrowave and mm-wave applications.
