Design, fabrication and characterization of a novel ultra-wideband, 22.5deg monolithic phase shifter with a sharing Lange coupler is described. The topology was specifically selected to minimize process variations on performance. Low peak phase error (<=2deg,) low VSWR(<=1.5). low insertion loss variations(<=2.6+-00.4dB) are exhibited over 5 to 20GHz frequency range. The chip size is 4.2mmX0.46mmX0.1mm
