摘要

The objective of research reported in the present paper is to develop the practical numerical simulation methods for transient combustion system in industrial furnaces such as "Regenerative combustion system" and "Impulse combustion system", because computer capability has reached the point that entirely new application area can be tried in industrial furnace design by using numerical analysis/computer simulation. The several numerical approaches to predict the steady state condition of the transient combustion control systems of industrial furnaces are studied by applying for several practical cases. Finally, as a new-concept model, a combination of several parallel steady-state-calculations corresponding with the burner combustion pattern and "Heat Sink-Release Wall Model" has been developed. By being applied to the practical industrial cases for a regenerative industrial furnace, this methodology is confirmed as a useful and powerful tool for industrial use. Without tremendous conventional non-steady calculation, the new approach solution can reach the final target very easily and quickly.
