The Pressure Sensitive Industry has experienced dynamic change over the past 40 years, beginning with the EPA landmark legislation known as Rule 66. During subsequent years, EPA compliance drove the development and acceptance of hot melt and emulsion adhesive technologies. This paper will look at the comparisons of solvent, hot melt, and emulsion technologies, and where they fit in today's primary marketing segments.
