At the University of Technology Darmstadt, a group of different domain experts from different institutes has been involved in the interdisciplinary research project "Development of Environmentally Sound Products". The first main goal of this project is to gain the knowledge about the physical impacts of a product on the environment during it's entire life. The second main goal is to implement this knowledge in a computer-based system, which will help the product developer design friendly products for our globe. In this effect, one of the major challenges is to develop methods and tools for the integration of expert knowledge. Within this research group (CRC-392: Collaborative Research Center 392), an object-oriented information model, in which the expert knowledge can be formally specified, has been developed. This paper focuses on the development of methods and tools, which support different domain experts implementing their knowledge in the information model concurrently and simultaneously. This does not only require object-oriented modeling technique but also object-oriented programming skills of the experts. An approach has been developed to allow the experts implement their knowledge in programming source code without the programming knowledge.
