We will shortly overview the 3 types of base-papers used for the production of Finish Foil : LBWP, Post-rnImpregnated and Pre-Impregnated.rnWe will then go into the specificity of Pre-Impregnated paper stating the requirements that this paper has tornmatch in terms of printing, lacquering and gluing abilities as well as for further processing.rnFinally we will clarify what is behind the so called “internal bond”, detailing various approaches : Tesa test,rnsplitting and Scott bond tests.
