Agent-based urban traffic simulation has been lookedrnas an efficient tool for traffic planning. However, the mainrnproblem is how to build an agent-based model for trafficrnsimulation. This research presents an urban trafficrninformation intelligent control model, which adopts a multiagentsrncoordination approach for urban traffic informationrncontrol to coordinate the traffic network. In this paper, wernpropose a new traffic information intelligent control hybridrnmodel based on multi-agent system that performs the basicrninterface, planning and supports services for managingrndifferent types of demand responsive transportation. In thisrnresearch, we expose the main features and the behaviorsrnexhibited of the multi-agent system. Based on this model, arnsimplified multi-agent traffic information control systemrncan be developed that is effective for reducing trafficrncongestion and air pollution.
