摘要

This paper describes a framework for design andrndevelopment of intelligent simulation environment forrnqueuing system. The intelligent simulation environmentrnutilizes Artificial Neural Network (ANN) to simulate andrnoptimize a complex queuing system. The integratedrnsimulation ANN model is a computer program capable ofrnimproving its performance by referring to productionrnconstraints, system's limitations and desired targets. It is arngoal oriented, flexible and integrated approach and producesrnthe optimum solution by utilizing Multi Layer Perceptronrn(MLP). The properties and modules of the prescribedrnintelligent simulation ANN are: 1) parametric modeling, 2)rnflexibility module, 3) integrated modeling, 4) knowledgebasernmodule, 5) integrated database and 6) learning module.rnThe integrated simulation ANN is applied to 30 distinctrnG/G/K queuing systems. Furthermore, its superiority overrnconventional simulation approach is shown in tworndimensions which are running time and number of requiredrniterations.
