Plant community science investigation was put up in order to study the relation of species distribution and the environmental factors in Saihanba Hebei province,China. The species composition was analyzed by the field survey and the environmental factors were divided into habitat factors and stand ones. The method of Canonical Correspondence Analysis (CCA) was used to study the relation between species and environment of the plantation community. The results showed that: (1) there were 56 vascular plants belonging to 24 families and 47 genera. Among them, all species were seed plants and composite plants were the most. belonging to 8 genera and 11 species. The CCA ordering results have better reflected the relation between undergrowth community and environmental factors. Slope and stand density are the main control variables of the first and second canonical axes respectively which influence species distribution.
