The paper describes a novel broadband Zero Correlation Window (ZCW) continuous pilot scheme for Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) systems. We firstly generate the ZCW continuous pilot by Perfect Complete Generalized Complementary Orthogonal Code Pairs Mate, whose periodic auto-correlation function (ACF) and cross-correlation function (CCF) are ideal in the sense of complementary, and there is no adjacent cell interference(ACI) and inter-symbol interference(ISI) when the multi-path delay is less than the ZCW of the Generalized Complementary Code. We then introduce the novel transmission scheme using Four-Color Principle (FCP) for multi-cell scenario. Moreover, we propose several enhanced continuous pilot schemes for existing LTE/LTE-A system, which show higher estimation accuracy compared with Long Term Evolution-Advanced (LTE-A) reference signalRSscheme in a 19-cell networking environment with the power attenuation of 3.652.
