Based on the test results of dielectric loss factor (tan8) of transformer bushings in an artificial climate chamber, in this paper a Decision Table to analyzed the influence of tan5 is built which based on the Rough Set (RS) theory, and the effect of environment factors and voltage on the tan8 of capacitive equipment was analyzed by the Rough Set theory, and the results shows that the influence of temperature and humidity is much more than the voltage, which can be ignored. However, the old bushing is more influenced by the humidity factor compared to the new one. So, the fault of capacitive equipment can be diagnosed by RS theory and influence factors analysis.
