It is a challenge to explain/predict the coherent cold field emission (CCFE) image based on microscopic theory. A new theoretical approach to coherent field electron emission that could reveal the collective quantum states of nano-emitters will be introduced in this presentation The approach incorporates the electronic structure of the Nano-emitter and the emission wave function, thus it is endowed with the ability to predict the emission image. Field emission images of graphene, with and without magnetic field, are given as examples. Field emission wave function from graphene in magnetic field is obtained. The emission image reveals structure of the Landau levels and depends on the phase difference between two sub-lattices.
