摘要

Present work aims to remove the source current harmonics of order 6n±1 where, n is an integer present in power utility system under realistic scenario. This realistic scenario represents a harmonically unbalanced condition which is caused by multiple non-linear loads attached to different phases of 3-phase power supply. It creates different amplitude spectrum of individual source current harmonic in all 3-phases of the system. Harmonic detection is done using Fourier analysis technique. Two shunt hybrid active filters are connected at point of common coupling to remove the harmonics. 3-phase IGBT based voltage source inverter acts as an active power filter utilizes a method of inserting “POSITIVE INDUCTANCE” to tune the passive filter at desired harmonics. Proposed strategy is implemented in MATLAB/SIMULINK environment to validate the functioning of the strategy developed.
