In this paper, we present the preliminary results of a prospective study on nanocomposite made from a blend of carbon black (Vulcan XC-72R) and a 6.0 wt% polyacrylonitrile dissolved in n, n dimethylformamide (PAN/DMF) in several proportions. From the dispersion, the resistances of the films and the membranes obtained by the electrospinning process were measured. It has been found that with the increase of the amount of carbon black in the polymer dispersion, the lower the value of the electrical resistance and the higher the conductance, for both membranes and the films. These results show that it is possible to produce conductive nanofibers that can be applied as membranes in electrostatic microfilters and nanosensors.
