Summary form only given. In this work, nonlinear response in the locally laser-reshaped Ag NPs in glass is investigated. Second Harmonic Generation (SHG) is studied from elliptical Ag NPs with different aspect ratios. The spectrally resolved nonlinear response in these materials also reveals the presence of Multiphoton-Absorption-Induced Luminescence (MAIL). Complementary SHG and MAIL studies in the mechanically stretched MNG are performed for the elliptical NPs with similar aspect ratio. The absorption, scattering and extinction factors of Ag NPs with different elongation ratios are estimated using Discrete Dipole Approximation (DDA) [4].
