摘要

In this paper, detailed analysis of lower order and fundamental mode of a single shorting post loaded equilateral triangular microstrip antenna has been presented. Microstrip line feed of 50Ω impedance along the base of the equilateral triangle with a single shorting post has been proposed for impedance matching. A detailed investigation of the shorting pin loaded equilateral triangular microstrip antenna has been presented and experimentally validated with reasonably good agreement.
