摘要

The speed sensorless modes of operation are becoming a benchmarking accepted solutions in the sphere of electric drives. This paper furnishes a comparative analysis of the sensorless speed control of an Induction Motor (IM) utilizing the Extended Kalman Filter (EKF) with the Classical Proportional-Integral (PI) Controller and with the Cascade PI-Fuzzy based Controller. A technique of closed loop estimation of the speed is used for the control approach of an IM. The EKF described in this paper featuring to its less computational effort and low complexity proposes a feasible methodology for controlling the speed of an IM drive unescorting the use of speed sensors. In addition to this, the behaviour of EKF with the PI controller and with the Cascade PI-Fuzzy controller are also analysed. Simulation results validate the effectiveness of the proposed technique.
