Agricultural productivity has been a major concern for people since ancient times, and now more than ever before, with exploding human population, climate change, floods, ever-changing rain pattern, and the like. These, combined with many other factors leading to the destruction of plants, crops, and agricultural land have demonstrated a need for good and efficient techniques to save these vulnerable plants. Rainfall, in particular, contributes to a majority of problems associated with agriculture, be it more rain leading to crop destruction or less rain contributing to the lack of water. In this paper, we present a technique which will definitively free plants and crops from any sort of water peril. This technique will essentially prevent any type of water hazard, be it excessive rainfall, dearth of rainfall, or a flood, and protect crops, and for that matter, even non-arable plants, using the concepts and implementations of Internet of Things.
