This paper presents the design and development of a portable Meter Test Equipment (MTE) that can determine the energy measurement error of single and polyphase electronic electricity meters of class indexes A & B - active energy and class 1 & 2 reactive energy. Our work is concentrated around designing the metrological 4-quadrant power supply and error calculator.
