Typologies of college graduates of the Faculty of Exact, Physical and Natural Sciences (FCEFN) of the National University of San Juan, which have relevance in their academic performance and in the academic quality of the faculty were established. For that purpose we worked with college graduates of year 2014, by applying two data analysis approaches: the classical and the symbolic one. For the first approach, Multidimensional Data Analysis techniques which allow for a classification of the responses by means of the Multiple Correspondence Factor Analysis and subsequent Cluster Analysis were employed, by using SpaD-N software. For the second one, the concept and the creation of objects and symbolic tables were introduced and by using the SODAS (Symbolic Official Data Analysis System) software, exhaustive descriptions of the college graduates were obtained from each Academic Degree Unit of the Faculty.
