This paper deals with an analysis and study of 3P4L-VSI using the 3D-SVPWM technique. The analysis adopts the average large signal model. The work intended to show the ability of this inverter to overcome the challenge of feeding unbalanced, nonlinear and continuously changed load with balanced 3-phase voltages. The work comprises a simulation using Matlab/Simulink of this inverter feeding a variable unbalanced (RLC) load. The results show good performance with low THD for different operating conditions.
