摘要

Image enhancement is one of the pre-processing steps in various computer vision applications. It is a procedure of improving the quality of the image without any information loss. Usually, the images are affected by various facts. Particularly in the underwater image, haze and hue variations significantly affected. Practically, our fusion-based method plans to yield a final image that overcomes the deficiencies existing in the degraded input images by employing several weight maps that discriminate the regions characterized by poor visibility. In this paper, a literature survey is done by study various techniques of an image enhancement and fusion for underwater images.
