The paper presents the improved driving performance of a mid class car with Integrated Starter Generator,rnwhich is powered by a double layer capacitor. The installation of a 10 kW nominal power ISG will turnrnthe vehicle into a Mild Hybrid with improved drivability and performance. The torque of the ISG isrnroughly equal to the torque of the combustion engine in the low RPM-range. The driver receives arndoubled torque - the mild hybrid is going wild.
