摘要

This study was conducted to clarify the difference in visual acuity and color recognition between the dark eye and the fair eye at lower illuminance. A series of experiments were carried out using an experimental room in which the illuminance level could be changed from 0.001 lx to 30 lx. At each illuminance level, visual acuity was tested using four types of colored Landolt's rings, with color discrimination tested using twelve different color cards. From the results of the experiments, the difference in visual acuity and color discrimination between the two groups was found to be color discrimination at lower illuminance.
