摘要

The paper describes a synthetic method of designing rotational reflectors with reference to the dimensions and luminance distribution of the lamp. The method is very convenient, quick and of sufficient accuracy. It makes it possible to achieve a uniform or any desired illuminance pattern on the working surface. Calculations were made for a linear light source of uniform luminance and a metal halide discharge lamp with a ceramic envelope (CDM).
