摘要

In this paper we investigate the effects of DBD treatments on the adhesion properties of polymer films, selected as materials of interest in medical applications. The surface characterization is performed using AFM, contact angle measurement, ellipsometry and surface conductivity measurement. The adhesion properties of the surfaces in contact with biological molecules are discussed related to the parameters controlling the interfacial processes between biological liquids - polymer surface. Results show that DBD represents an attractive technique to enhance the adhesion of biological molecules onto the surface of polymer films.
