The study of surface wind field is very important because it provides the primary input for decision making in air quality control, structural design improvement, wind energy development, and many other application. The numerical model used in the study is a three-dimensional mass-consistent kinematic flow model. The major elements considered in the surface wind field modeling are topography and surface roughness.
