Self-compacting concrete mixed with flexible fibers may take advantage of fibers' anti-cracking property, which may enhance impact properties of SCC. Considering the fact that more than eighty percent of concrete consumption per annum is middle-low intensity concrete in China, the impact properties of flexible fiber reinforced self-compacting concrete (SCC) in middle-low intensity were first explored through pendulum impact test and falling-weight impact test, which showed that 0.6~1.2kg/m3 flexible fiber content mixed into SCC improved the impact properties of SCC remarkably. The mechanism of improvement on impact properties was also analyzed.
