摘要

The WHO estimates that about 15% of any population is affected by disability (WHO, 2014). On top of this, in Uganda 6% of the population are aged over 60 years and 7% have chronic illnesses (Atuhairwe, 2015). Together, these contribute to the vulnerable population. Despite some efforts in Uganda, there is a general lack of experience and awareness to adapt basic inclusive WASH services (Atuhairwe, 2015). Through a 3 year project, efforts are being made to ensure that WASH services are inclusive and reach vulnerable people including the PWDs, the chronically ill, children, and girls of menstrual age.
