摘要

The PD and PAD distribution patterns are evidently related to the culture dish configuration. This fact leads to the extrapolation that the nonuniformity of the PD and PAD distributions results mostly from the side shape of the culture dish whose dimensions are comparable to the MMW wavelength. So the nonuniformity is possibly avoidable in the central area of a culture dish with a diameter much larger than the MMW wavelength. If this is true, large-diameter culture dishes should be recommended for these experiments. This conclusion has been reached by the previous study. The preliminary study introduced here as part Ⅰ and part Ⅱ for the seminar has again proved that experimental dosimetry is very complicated but highly important for researches on MMW biological effects to be carried out in the days to come. And the cooperation between dosimetry study and experimental study are to be encouraged if we look forward to fresh findings in this new territory of biological science.
