摘要

A computation is performed of the human body illuminated with nuclear electromagnetic pulses (NEMPs) by frequency-dependent finite-difference time-domain ((FD) ~2TD) technique. The simulated human model employed in this paper is a uniform infinite long ellipsoid cylinder of dielectric property characterized by a five-term Debye relation. The results show that NEMPs exhibit strong penetration through human body with a large current produced and a little electromagnetic energy absorbed. This will give insight into the effect of electromagnetic pulse on human body.
