摘要

Introduction Ruminants,like lactating goats,are often fed with high grain diets to meet the energy demand for high milk production or simply due to a lack of forages at times.As a result,subacute ruminal acidosis (SARA)occurs frequently in practical dairy production.At the same time,the change of rumen pH is related to prevalent consumption of rapidly fermentable carbohydrates (DeVries et al.2009).Besides,liver is the main tissue of substance and energy metabolism.The most common andbest-characterized functions include bile production,lipidmetabolism,haematopoietic organogenesis and glucose metabolism.We hypothesized that the occurrence of SARA would affect the metabolism of liver.In the present study,we performed comparison analyses of the liver proteome to study the impact of SARA on mid-lactating goats from the point of liver metabolism.
