Change in pinning properties of Bi_2Sr_2CaCu_2O_(8+x)(Bi-2212) single crystals due to fast neutron irradiation followed by thermal annealing is reported. At the fluence of 5 X 10~(18)cm~(-2), the J_c and U_0~* decreased due to excess irradiation and increased to thermal annealing after irradiation. For the specimen annealed at 673 K, J_c and U_0~* at 20K and 40K increased as annealing time increased up to 24h. On the other hand, for specimen annealed at 1073K, they increased up to 1h or 3h and then decreased. These results indicate a difference in the change of the defect structure due to the thermal annealing.
