Behavior of Cu atoms in α-Fe is of primary concern to understand the mechanism of neutron irradiation embrittlment of reactor pressure vessel materials. We present our recent atomic-scale computer simulation results on the diffusion mechanism of a Cu atom as well as interactions between Cu atoms and point defects by means of the molecular dynamics and the Monte Carlo computer simulation techniques.
