Along with the establishment of the new generation geodetic survey datum system in our country, each kind of survey data, including the coordinate system, blueprint, the database of the coordinate achievement and so on are all needed to converted to the new generation geodetic survey datum system. In these transformation projects, the coordinates system is the most fundamental and the most important. Rebuilding and consummating the hundreds of city survey control networks in our country and converting the surveying data of traditional city control networks into the new generation geodetic survey datum system is the need of the fast development of the social economy. This test takes a city independent coordinate systeM for example. It is converted into our national standard coordination system established in 1954 which was named Beijing coordinate system of 1954. It analyses the precision of city independent coordinate system and original control points by using GPs static carrier wave survey to gain plane coordinates of high precision. This test solves the problem of the conversion between city independent coordinate system and national coordi-natesystem by using similar transformation model of plane rectangular coordinates and division transformation method. This meets the requirement of actual precision. We can convert blueprints and independent coordinates into national standard coordinate system by transformation parameters. And it has reference value and guiding significance because it provides ways of conversion for city survey results of independent coordinate system.
