摘要

This paper presents the establishment of a low cost amaterur microsatellite ground station developed for space technology education and training, which as full automation capabiloity for tracking, telemetry encoding/deconding and control. Through usage of this facility, students can be effectively trained to learn the details of the whole ground station subsystems and gain the reqired sapce technology with a minimum amount of facility cost and development time. In addition, through modifying an old model tranceiver, the current system is successfully able to communicate with the existing microsatellites at 9600 bits per second in an economical way without purchasing a new rig.
